Step-by-Step Process

1

Surface Preparation

Clean the surface thoroughly, removing all dust, debris, and grease. Ensure the surface is completely dry and smooth.

Tip: Use a degreaser for best results, especially on kitchen floors.

2

Measure and Cut

Measure the area carefully and cut the film with 5-10cm extra on each side. Always cut on a clean, flat surface.

Tip: Let the film acclimate to room temperature for 24 hours before installation.

3

Apply Adhesive

Apply the adhesive evenly according to manufacturer instructions. Work in sections for large areas.

Tip: Use a notched trowel for consistent adhesive thickness.

4

Position the Film

Carefully position the film, starting from one edge. Avoid stretching the material during application.

Tip: Have a helper for larger pieces to prevent creases and bubbles.

5

Remove Air Bubbles

Use a squeegee or roller to push out air bubbles from the center outward. Apply firm, consistent pressure.

Tip: Work slowly and methodically to avoid trapping air.

6

Heat and Seal

Use a heat gun on low setting to activate the adhesive and seal edges. Be careful not to overheat.

Tip: Maintain a distance of 15-20cm from the surface while heating.

7

Trim Excess

Carefully trim excess film along edges using a sharp utility knife and straight edge.

Tip: Change blade frequently for clean cuts.

8

Final Roll

Roll the entire surface one final time to ensure complete adhesion. Pay special attention to seams and edges.

Tip: Use a 50kg roller for best results on floor applications.
